i'd like to say we have officially reached 26 blog posts. This is good news: 26 is one of my favorite numbers. i just love \blogging. It never ceases to make me smile.
Speaking of blogging, i have been a very terrible blogger lately. The last two weeks have been so busy. I know, i know, this is no excuse. I'm sure your lives have been so sad without your daily dose of blogging cheesiness BUT no worries i am back. I'd like to take a minute to applaud the ginger's dedication to blogging, particularly her thorough coverage of the Olympics. Of course, this is not too surprising-- gingers typically love the Olympics. Case and point-- Shaun White- the flying tomato- HUGE GINGER.
Fun fact, i'm in class right now. I have a test in this class on Friday. hmm... poor decision making? maybe.
Anyways i'd like to just real quickly tell you about 3 huge events in my life yesterday. I'd like to think that these events in my life can be contributed to my newfound maturity (i mean it was just my birthday). But then again, who am i kidding? maturity.. yeah right. But here the 3 events are, in no particular order:
1. napping. i am such a hypocrite. Actually, why we are on this subject let me take a quick side note to further emphasize my hypocritical-ness. For basically this whole year, i told people that greek yogurt (the munchie-mart variety) is nasty. In all fairness, i did give it a try TWICE. Both times i was let down. It tasted like cardboard mixed with sour milk. ewww. But then i was like okay, no danskos. You are gonna try it one more time. So i did. And you know what happened. I LOVED IT. Here is the trick. This is one of those type things that they should tell you during the first week of school. But since they didn't. I'm hear to say once and for all-- greek yogurt is great WITH things in it (i.e. honey, fruit, sugar). So anyways, thats my first discovery. Another thing i've always said is that i don't nap. I'm just not a napper. Well yesterday, i napped. And let me just say, it was great. I woke up feeling so alive and was able to actually do my work. So this is an epic new discovery in my life. Thought yall would wanna know.
2. GRINS. okay so yesterday i hiked over to grins after getting out of class late. All i wanted was a veggie wrap, not that much to ask. Since i was getting there at an odd time, i figured there'd be no line. False. The line was out the door. Discouraged, i made my way over to starbucks. Of course, there were no tables there either. So instead i sat in a corner in some building that i don't know the name of. Eventually i felt revived and decided to give grins another chance. So once again, i went to grins and guess what!!!? there was no line. I was thrilled, obviously. So there i went to the counter, made my order, and guess what?!? (this is a very interactive blog). The person taking my order KNEW my name. I have officially become a 'grins regular'. I know, i know, what an accomplishment. My outlook on life has changed.
3. TREADMILL. So following my wonderful nap and grins, i decided it was time to get my fitness on in da gym (thanks fergie ferg for these inspired words). Today, i did not fall of the treadmill. It was a little scary to get on the treadmill again. But no fear, i survived.
In conclusion, what a great day!
